- Romania is situated on the last or penultimate place on many indicators relating to living conditions of rural population,
- In rural areas are 44% of households in Romania,
- 89.5% of people in rural areas do not operate at all on the Internet,
- The vast majority of people in rural areas (96.5%) have ever received funding from the EU, most not knowing to access them,
- Only one quarter (25.2%) of people in rural areas say in their village is a sewage system and 55.8% say there is a drinking water network,

• No state authority, any organization or your employer, may require you to do this.

• This is an amount owed to the state (as a tax) but you can decide how and to whom will it be allocated.
• I do not want to say that the state does nothing with them, just that we have better ideas for these pennies...
What to do after you have chosen Civitas Foundation for Civil Society?

1. Fill in data on your statement depending on source of income:
a) if you have income from wages:
• fill in Form 230
Do not worry if you don’t know the appropriate amount of 2% of tax. It will be calculated by the fiscal authorities. You can leave the box blank.

b) if you have income from other sources (disposal use of property, copyright, etc.):
fill in Form 200
Those who obtain, in addition to wages and other income, will complete Form 200 - special statement of income achieved in 2009, to all the chapters related to the type of income received, including Chapter III, Destination amount of 2% of annual income tax due.

2. You can send the Form to Civitas Foundation by mail; to the Financial Administration or you can submit it yourself.

Latest news

Civitas Foundation for Civil Society organized in July and August 2010 the LEADER training for the participant from the Centre and North-West Regions. The beneficiaries of the training are representatives of the public and privat sectors, who will establish the Local Action Group. For this work 75 persons were professional coached.

 

 

In July the participants were informed about the LEADER philosophy and about the methods of community based social-economical development. In August the participants got knowledge in the following issues:

-         drafting of the development priorities;

-         elaboration of the local action plan;

-         required budget for the implementation of the actions;

-         implementation, evaluation and monitoring.


 

 

This training session finished on the 22. August, but through a mailing list the participants will keep the contact to each other. In this way they could help and inform each other during the implementation of the LEADER program.
