Comuna Cojocna, aflată în Câmpia Fizesului, se întinde pe o suprafaţă de 238 km², având o populaţie de app. 4.400 de locuitori, dispusi în satul resedinţă de comună Cojocna si satele Boj-Cătun, Boju, Cara, Huci, Iuriu de Câmpie, Moristi si Straja.
Acum locuitorii comunei au posibilitatea să urmeze cursuri de calculator în cadrul e-centrului care a fost inaugurat în data de 2 iunie aici.

Civitas Foundation for Civil Society implements in July and August the instruction for the second phase of LEADER in the Central and North-West Regions. This programm aims the formation of the local actors in order to creat public-privat partnership for implementing the measure of the LEADER axis.

A Civitas Alapítvány tisztelettel meghívja Önt az április 21-én szervezett Kapcsolatok – Jó tett helyébe jót várj című rendezvényre. A rendezvény olyan nonprofit egyesületeknek szol, melyek közösségfejlesztő projekteket bonyolítanak le. A rendezvény célja a nonprofit szféra szervezeti kapacitásának fejlesztése, egy olyan közeg megteremtése, amely lehetővé teszi a jelenlevők számára az ötletcserét, illetve az új információkhoz való hozzáférést.

On March 12, 2010, in the presence of representatives of Norwegian Embassy in Romania, the Board members of Civitas, the staff of regional offices in Cluj and Odorheiu Secuiesc, the partners in „Fruit of Traditions” project and other invited people we opened the resource Center, which received the name „Rural Assistance and Development Center”. Gala of Center’s name-board unveiling was preceded by a meeting about the project and a press conference attended by many journalists.

Promoting entrepreneurship in non-agricultural activities in rural areas

Civitas Foundation for Civil Society in partnership with Rural Assistance Center, EOS Foundation and Abbant Foundation will implement the following strategical project „Human resource development in the rural areas and promoting entrepreneurship in non-agricultural activities". The project will be implemented between March 1^st 2010 and February 29^th 2012.

The main objective of the project is to develop the human resources of the rural areas and to facilitate the susteinable development by promoting entrepreneurship in non-agricultural activities.

The total buget of the project is 3.893.095,37 lei and is cofinanced by the European Union through the Human Resource Development Operational Program in 97,9% (3.526.156,87 lei).

The network meeting of Unitarian local developers took place in Rares on 16th February. The priests and local developers had the chance to meet an implementing project in Odorhei region. The project coordinator, Mr. Bándi Ferenc made a short presentation of their project called Fruit Trail. This trail will have 70 km long accrosing 13 localities from Odorhei region. The project team’s aim with this trail is to raise awareness of local communities and tourist’s also to the importance of maintenance and use of traditional fruit varieties. You should cross this road by walk and by bike and wagon.
