International Conference

During March 8th -10 th Civitas Foundation will organize the international conference „Regional development in South East Europe – Pros and cons”.
The conference will be organize through the project Regional Development implemented by Civitas through Soros Foundation Romania.
The project is focused in the share of know-how between the people from South East Europe and Central Europe. It will be presented different case studies, public polices, applied papers from other countries. The share of experience will offer a more ample view of what’s going on well in other countries and can help us to formulate thorugh the event efficient public policies.
Also on the second day we plan to organize a study visit to see different projects implemented on the area through Regional Development Project.
The event is addressing to specialists that will attend the conference will have to be involve in regional and rural development field from South East and Western Europe, including university teachers, people working in NGOs, civil servants working in state institutions that develop activities in these two areas, policy analysis and policy makers.
