Increased interest in social economy

Structural ConsultingTM Group organized on the 18th of November 2011 the seminar “Social economy: business alternative or social service?”.

The seminar was part of the project “Social and labor market inclusion trough social enterprises” implemented by Alba County Council and its partners Civitas Foundation for Civil Society, Structural Consulting Group LLC,  Center for Continuing Education and Competency Assessment in Social Assistance (CFCECAS), Die Querdenker (transnational partner).

 

The seminar generated major interest among NGO-s and entrepreneurs involved in social economy. The event hosted 68 participant from NGO-s, companies and public authorities interested in social economy, and the project’s partners.

 

The seminar focused on topics of interest such as legislation and financing opportunities for social economy. Also during the seminar several Romanian social economy best practices were presented.

In the following period other similar events will be organized, at Târgovişte on the 16th of December and in
Cluj Napoca on the 9th of December.
